I have a lot of names for both sides of my family, but no organization to it whatsoever. I know genealogy software exists out there, but I'm looking for a simple and FREE version that will allow me to enter the names and possibly even has a feature that creates the visual "tree," which can often be so helpful in understanding connections.

Does anyone know of a family tree freeware program that is for MAC OS X (I have Leopard) and IS NOT a trial/demo? I have a family reunion in a couple weeks and I want to surprise my relatives with a family tree. I'm not wanting to spend any money on it though, and I don't want a trial version or a demo. Thank you!
I have been running those lot for ages with no problem, and they are free
just one note, Avast turns off autorun in windows (no matter what version you have) although this isn't a bad thing, some viruses spread via autorun.ini files being on usb sticks
Just curious -- what freeware/shareware programs that you've downloaded would you say are really useful to you? I'm thinking more about applications/helpers than games programs. What would you recommend as a "must get" download to your friends and family?
