The Ciliwung River flows through two provinces in Indonesia, West Java and the Special Region of Jakarta. Ciliwung is 97 km long with a catchment area of 476 km2. The source located at Mount Mandalawangi in Bogor regency. The river flows in a northern direction passing several active volcanoes and two main cities Bogor and Jakarta before finally flowing into the Java Sea through Jakarta Bay (source:Wikipedia).
During rain season, this river often becomes the cause of flood in Jakarta. The Ciliwung River in my city looks much better. I share here the river view captured from a bridge at Jalak Harupat Street, Bogor. The greeny around is a part of Bogor Botanical Gardens.
