Sunda Strait is the strait that connects the islands of Java and Sumatra in Indonesia, as well as connecting the Java Sea to the Indian Ocean. At its narrowest point, the width of the Sunda strait is only about 30 km. Some small islands located in the strait, but unfortunately I don’t know the name of this island.
As one of the two main trajectories that flow from the South China Sea to the Indian Ocean (the other one is the Malacca Strait), the Sunda Strait is an important shipping lanes. Although the danger of such narrow strait and threatened coral reefs, Sunda Strait is shorter than the Malacca Strait. Source:wikipedia.
