Mocca and a Neighbor’s Cat

>> Jun 6, 2015

Could male cats from different houses be friends?  An adult male cat always thinks his home as his authority area. Recently, a neighbor’s male cat often visits our home and Mocca –our cat- never behaves friendly to him.   But since the guest isn’t an aggressive cat, Mocca never fights with this grey cutie.

One afternoon, I captured both of them. The meeting ended just like that. After the eye contact happened, the guest cat took step back slowly and turned around, so also with Mocca.

Not really friends then, just tolerate one another.

Mocca is king of his territory. They are both cute kitties. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

They are so funny! Only they seem to fully understand the dynamic of the relationships. :-) Great pictures.

Better to have a peaceful mutual disapproval than a fight needing a visit to the vet, right, kitties?!!

The interaction between cats is quite fascinating at times, especially if they don't belong to the same household.

Mocca should treat it's guest a cup of mocha.
