How to look like a million dollar with a low budget

>> Mar 22, 2016

You don’t need to have a lot of money to be stylish. Well, it can be easier if you had a ton of cash but the thing is that you should just be a bit more creative and even with a small budget you can look like a million dollar. Concentrate on the fun and originality and you will look astonishing.

1.   Hair

Greasy hair and you don’t have time to wash it? You can just take a talcum powder or baby powder and rub it along the roots of your hair so the powder will absorb the oil and your hair will look much better. Problems with split ends? You can use a bit of body lotion and put it on your ends and your hair will look healthier, or you can even wash your hair with beer and eggs. Your hair will become softer because of the vitamins this DIY shampoo contains.

2.   Clothes

If you think that you need a lot of money to buy great clothes, you are wrong. Don’t bother yourself by going to fancy boutiques when you can just visit vintage fairs, flea markets, second hand stores.  You can find clothes that are pretty cool and you can even pretend to be a fashion designer and make something unique with those clothes. Online shopping is also great and the prices are great, too. You should always pay attention on your body shape when you buy clothes, so don’t buy the ones that are just expensive and that don’t look good on you, it’s a waste of money.

3.   Skin

The great thing about your skin and a low budget is that you can do and make a lot of stuff on your own at your house.  If you have problems with acne or even wrinkles and fine lines, there are all types of masks that you can make from the natural ingredients. For example, if you have a dry, patchy skin you can make a mask from ½ very ripe avocado, 2 tablespoons of honey and ½ teaspoon of coconut oil. Mash it up, apply it on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. You will see the results almost immediately.

4.   Make up

If you don’t have any more of your favorite bronzer you can make one in your kitchen. You need 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon of nutmeg, and 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder. Mix it all up and you will get an awesome bronzer and you will glow. If you want a better look for your lips there is also a solution. You can mix any lip color by using a loose powder eye shadow and some lip balm. You can put it in a small container and put a little powder onto it, mix it up so that the powder is evenly placed on the balm, and then you can put it on your lips with a lip brush or your finger. Still, if you prefer to buy your makeup investing in a quality brands such as Jane Iredale Makeup will definitely pay off in the long run and your face will be impeccable.

5.   Nails

After removing your nail polish you should put some vinegar on a paper towel and wipe it off, it will give you a clean and clear surface. If you want a colorful nail polish you should cut up ten squares of sponges large enough to cover the nail, choose whichever nail polish and then apply the lines from the darkest to the lightest right next to each other, press the sponge onto your nail and that’s it! After you finish, you can air dry them for three minutes and then dunk them into the ice bath, and your polish will be done.

With a just a little bit of will and enthusiasm you can look amazing. From simple and small things like nail polishes to your clothes, without spending too much money you will accomplish the desired look.
