Taking Care of My Injured Brother

My late entry for Blue Monday.

Saturday afternoon, I got a call from my brother. He said that he just fell down from his bike and got injured. He has obtained required medical treatment at a hospital and wanted to rest in our home as he lives alone since he moved to Jakarta (the capital city of Indonesia) last July; his wife and kids keep staying in Surabaya city (East Java, Indonesia).

When he arrived at our home by taxi, I was shocked to see his t-shirt was full of blood. There are some wounds in his head, back and feet. He also suffers fractured left shoulder bone; it makes him hard and painful to move.  An arm sling must be used to support his left hand.

 

Together with my husband, we try to care for him well and make him feel comfortable during his painful condition. Today he looks better. He can sleep well and make some movements though slowly ones.
