How to Know That You Are Marrying the Right Person

>> Jun 6, 2013

A question which comes to every person who is about to get married, is "How do I know if I'm marrying the right person?"

Finding Miss or Mr. Right is not always an easy thing to do. Once you think you have found the right person, you may have doubts. Having doubts about whom you are marrying is not only normal and having doubts is healthy. Hopefully you already know that you shouldn't marry someone who drinks too much, spends too much, works too much, brags too much, uses drugs, is engaged in any of the illegal activities, is unfaithful, cruel, or dishonest.

If your future spouse is free of those destructive behaviors and you are still having doubts about getting married, read these statements. You will see if your doubts are reasonable and worth paying attention to, or if you are having cold feet about getting married without having any rational reasons.

Happiness and Emotional Support
Although expecting a spouse to make you feel happy all the time is unreasonable, being with the right person can bring happiness and a sense of personal strength to your life. You will know you are marrying the right person when you feel support and encouragement about your own growth both emotionally and intellectually. The right person will want you to be emotionally healthy and able to stand on your own feet. When you are with the right person, you will feel good about yourself, safe, and fulfilled.

The right person will not be negative, selfish, embarrassing, critical, or a slob. Why spend your life with a jerk?

Affection and Love
It is important that the person you marry is someone who is understanding and agreeable to your wishes and needs when it comes to love. You will know you are marrying the right person if your future spouse says "I love you" not only in words spoken, but by his actions as well. Loving actions may be defined as doing things such as noticing when you are tired, remembering your birthday, wanting to spend time with you, listening to you, showing you respect, calling if you are running late, showing you affection, being patient with you if you don't understand something and hugging you for no special reason.

The right person is someone who you like. The right person will enjoy spending time with you. Your love and your marriage will slowly fade if the two of you are not friends. The right person is kind, considerate, and polite. Little things in life such as saying 'thank you' and holding a door open may seem old fashioned, but they do reflect the amount of caring and kindness in a person.

Communication, Goals, and Values
You and the right person will have similar goals and values in life.
Having different likes and different opinions is not a problem as long as the two of you agree to disagree. Although you may not always agree with one another, conversations with the right person will be interesting and not boring. The right person will communicate thoughts and feelings with you and will not keep hurts and concerns bottled up inside.

Understanding that the only constant in life is change, the right person should be willing to discuss marriage issues and topics both before and after you get married. The right person will want to work with you to balance your work and personal lives.

Feeling as if you are the only one picking things up around the house or taking care of the kids can get old. The right person is willing to share in the responsibilities of your home and future children.

Finding the right person does not mean that the two of you will not have difficulties or differences to deal with. However, with the right person you will know that the two of you will be able to work through the issues that could hurt your relationship. The way you handle disagreements and conflict shows more than what you fight about.

Trust and Honesty
The right person is honest with you.
The right person will trust you and not monitor your phone calls, or computer usage, or limit the amount of time you spend with others you care about. You will know you are marrying the right person if your future spouse does not try to isolate you from your family and friends. You not only need to belong to family, friends, groups, etc., you have the right to do so. The right person in your life will not try to control your life but will want to share a life with you.

The right person will trust you and not spy on you. Feeling as if you have to justify your every move will become a very heavy burden.

Red Flags in Your Relationship
If you realize that, there are red flags or problematic issues in your relationship do not ignore them or delude yourself into thinking that such issues are not that important or that someone you love will find a solution for that. It does take more than love to have a successful marriage!

Ways of Preserving the Quality of Your Leather Boots

It probably cost you a lot of time and most likely money to get those great pairs of shoes. You definitely cannot have those shoes forever but you could extend their service for as long as possible. Even if they eventually succumb to the effects of the long duration of service, you will have adequately gotten the best out of them. However, your lovely pairs don't have to be worn out before their time because there is something you can do about it.

Outlined below are some tips on looking after your beloved footwear.

Alternate the wearing

The obvious reason why your shoes wear out is because you are wearing them. If you have several pairs, it is advisable to avoid wearing the same pair for too long. If worn for long, the pair will succumb to wear at a faster rate. Alternating the pairs is a great idea because the shoes will wear slowly since they aren't worn frequently. That is why it also advisable to buy as many pairs as possible to avoid wearing out the shoes.

Use Some Waterproof

If you live in areas where it is often wet due to rain or snow, you will need to preserve your shoes by applying some water repellent on them. Water can never be good for shoes unless they are all-plastic. Keeping the water away from your shoes will definitely preserve them especially if they are leather, suede or any other material that is not water-friendly. Ensure that you clean them first if they are dirty before using a water repellent spray.

Store your shoes appropriately

You could use a shoe storage case to store them when you are not wearing them. Just ensure that you store them in a cool, clean and dry place. Avoid damp areas and too hot areas because they might cause the leather, if your shoes are leather , to crack and dry in a not so pleasant way. if they are wooden and stored in poor conditions, they are likely to warp and lose their shape. To prevent your shoes from losing their shape since you aren't going to wear them for some time, always stuff them with newspaper or cloth, it doesn't matter if they are wooden or not.

Clean your shoes the right way

Whether leather, suede or any synthetic material, your shoes need to be cleaned the right way to preserve the material. Use a suede cleaner for the suede, apply leather conditioner or leather cleaner on leather, use cloth and soapy water for the synthetic material or as directed by the manufacturer. The same way you take care of your skin to give it that healthy look, is the same way you will regularly need to clean your shoes to give the material that intact and perfect look.

Shoes can serve you for a long time if preserved well. You don't have to keep running to the store to buy new ones because they are wearing out quickly. Simply spend money on some great quality pairs and then take care of them if you intend to use them for a long time.

How to Discover Stunning Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast

>> Jun 5, 2013

Italy is a popular holiday destination and once visited will ensure return travel. Famed for its beauty Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast entices travellers year after year. Discover the ageless appeal of this part of Bella Italia.

Sorrento For Starters:
This jewel of a town with its crazy drivers and oh-so-hip carabinieri is a fabulous stepping off point to the sights and sounds of Campania. With buildings teetering on cliff edges which plunge into the deep blue Tyrrhenian Sea it is possible to be totally spellbound by the view across the Bay of Naples. For there is the mighty Vesuvius, dominating and majestic and, as locals tell us, long overdue for eruption!

Holiday villas in Italy are always popular and especially in this region. Sorrento is easy to get to by sea, road or air and has a thriving system of narrow alleys packed with shops, bars and establishments enticing you to a tipple or two of the local Limoncello.

From the harbour it is possible to sail off to Capri for the day. A lovely island of rugged coves promising romance and adventure. Or maybe a trip around the bay on the coast road towards Naples and a visit to Pompeii or Herculaneum. This should be on everyone's to-do list. The devastation caused by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD has to be seen to be believed and is a constant source of fascination to all visitors.

The journey up the winding roads of the volcano to the summit is amazing. On a clear day the view across the Bay of Naples is breathtaking. However, what will take your breath away is the strong smell of sulphur as the mountain smokes away quite literally, building up to its next eruption.

The Nastro Azzurro, An Unforgettable Drive:
The Amalfi coast appears regularly in magazines and on television and seems to epitomise all that is beautiful about Italy. From Sorrento take the SS163 highway, also known as the Nastro Azzurro or Blue Ribbon and enjoy the views across the sea, the hairpin bends and the sheer drops to the sea below.

This is the classic drive to be done on a Vespa or an open top sports car. Those who lack the nerve can book on a coach trip or, better still, take the local bus from Sorrento bus station. This option only costs a few Euros and takes exactly the same route through Positano, Praiano and eventually to Amalfi where there is plenty of time to have lunch, visit the stunning cathedral, walk the narrow streets and enjoy a gelato before making the return trip home.

From Amalfi the next stop is Ravello where breathtaking views over the Gulf of Salerno will have you scrabbling for the camera. Then it's on to Minori and Maiori and finally Vietri sul Mare which is the last town on the Amalfi coast and is famous for its ceramics.

Anyone staying in holiday villas in Italy and especially in Campania will have an unforgettable experience in this region. Classically and stylishly Italian it's got the lot.

The Arrival of Goods

>> Jun 3, 2013

I’m much better now, just a little cough still with me. Yesterday Sunday was a busy one. My SIL and two nephews will be move -in the short time. This house will not be empty again. My nephews will continue their school here.

We put lots of boxes -including this blue and yellow plastic shelves- in my late father's bedroom.
Yesterday, most of their belongings arrived in Sunday morning. A truck was rent to carry the items. Since they live in another island (Pontianak, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia), the truck had to undergo about two days journey –including the ship ride crossing the sea to reach the Java Island.
There's no blue on the truck, but the driver's assistant wearing blue jeans :)
A part of my nephew's blue bed. It wasn't easy to bring it into the room upstairs.
