Rugby Tours and Other Sport Tours for Supporters at Home and Abroad

>> Sep 11, 2012

Rugby Tours
Rugby fans have plenty of opportunities to tour with their favorite team throughout the year. In the springtime, RBS Six Nations fixtures take place at home and abroad, including in Paris and Rome. Six Nations rugby tours packages, including guaranteed match tickets, hotel accommodation and Eurostar tickets, if required, are available.

The HSBC Sevens World Series takes place in a series of exotic locations worldwide, including Dubai, Hong Kong, Las Vegas and Tokyo. Once again, full tour packages, including match tickets, flights, hotel accommodation and transfers are available.

If you don't want to travel quite so far afield, you might prefer a hospitality package for the autumn internationals at the Millennium Stadium or Twickenham. In 2012, Wales entertain Australia and New Zealand and England play Fiji, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

Cricket Tours
Cricket tours provide an opportunity to escape the British winter as well as to experience the thrill of live Test Match, Twenty20 and One Day International cricket. The England cricket team is due to tour India between November and December 2012, before returning to the subcontinent in January 2013 for a series of five ODI matches.

The Indian winter starts in November, so while daytime temperatures are comfortable it can become chilly at night. Mumbai, in the west, experiences around nine hours of sunshine on average during November and December and has an average maximum daily temperature of 31 degrees Celsius. Kolkata, in the east, is equally sunny, but typically cooler by a degree or two during November and December.

In February and March 2013, England tour New Zealand and between November 2013 and February 2014 they will tour Australia for the Ashes Series. Whatever your choice of destination, fully escorted cricket tours, with guaranteed match tickets, flights (including internal flights), hotel accommodation, transfers and even sightseeing included in the price, are available.

Other Tours
Of course, rugby and cricket are not the only sports that provide opportunities for supporters' tours. If you're a golf enthusiast, you may be able to get away for a week for the Ryder Cup or the Open. If you're a motor-racing enthusiast, hospitality packages are available for the British Grand Prix, Monaco Grand Prix and other destinations on the Formula One calendar.

If racing of the four-legged variety is more your thing, similar packages are available for the Cheltenham Festival, the Grand National, the Epsom Derby and Royal Ascot among other fixtures. Hospitality packages of this type typically include car parking, admission, lunch, afternoon tea and complimentary drinks with waitress service.
