There is no limit, it has something for everyone. From walks in the woodlands, fishing in the lakes, events all over the city and of course the perfect setting for any romantic getaways.

Each year Minnesota welcomes plenty of events. Food buffets, festivals and music with world famous acts performing here each year. Plus many more action packed adventures for everyone to enjoy.

Events

     Arts and Theater.
1.   One of the states favourite act is Mike Super, the magician and illusionist who is set to perform on 10/20/2017 at the Escher Auditorium.
2.   The Diary OF Anne Frank - one of my personal favorites or all time. Begins on 04/19/2017 at the Park Square theatre. Tells the story of Anne Frank whilst locked away for 2 years.

     Fairs and Festivals.
1.   Lions Fly in Breakfast will be making its 44th year anniversary appearance. Last year over 2000 people attend yearly. You can catch this on 09/10/2017 at the new ulm airport where they are every year giving the public breakfast pancakes and a close up look at the planes.
2.   Mr and Mrs Claus - bring the children down for a carriage ride around the city and to meet Mr and Mrs claus on the 11/25/2017 at Wadena. This will be a very special moment for the kids.
3.   The defeat of Jesse James - every year on the second weekend in September towns people come together and re-enact the famous 1876 bank raid on the town. The event involves the famous bank raid, tour of the village, horse shoe hunt, arts festival, parade and more. This is one not to be missed. You can catch this on September 6th - 10th 2017 at Northfield.

The events held in Minnesota don't all revolve around the adults with the night life and romantic breaks but they also hold a lot of events for children of all ages.

When it comes to events there is a lot of hard work that goes on behind closed doors to make them happen. A lot of effort has to be put into the ideas.

Organizations like Twin Cities Kids Club make this happen. Located in Minneapolis Minnesota Twin Cities Kids Club was formed by three families who wanted to help bring local families together through organising events such as, train rides and ornament painting. The organisation also offer a members discount card where you can save up to 50% off otherbusinesses for example, 2 for 1 on trampolining, free entry to the paintball room and unlimited access to the centre for 2 weeks. Useful Tips for Hiring a Painting Contractor

Painting is one of the vital home renovation projects and many homeowners do not have the patience or time that is required for this type of task. Aside from time constraints, buying wrong equipment or skipping essential preparation steps are also among the challenges that homeowners face. Professional painters give you a worthwhile alternative to handling the job by yourself and there are some factors you need to consider when hiring a contractor.

Estimates

One of the crucial steps in your search for a professional painter is to get at least three contractors who can give you estimates. There are various painters who offer their services and you can find them online. Consult at least three and ask them to assess the project before you make a final decision.

References

Getting painter recommendations from friends and family is also a good place to start your search. After the painters provide you with estimates, request for lists of references. You can call the references to verify client satisfaction and the quality of work.

Credentials

Once you narrow down your choices and check references, remember to ask for proof of insurance and licenses. Carry out as much research as you can to find out if any complaints have been filed against the painters that you want to hire.

Worksites

Make an effort to visit some worksites and ask the references if you can take a look at the painting that was done on their homes. You can visit both new and old paint jobs to determine the quality of craftsmanship and the durability of the work that was done by the painting contractors.

Guarantees

Find out whether the painter can provide a guarantee for the work. Some paint does not adhere to the surface after drying or problems arise after painting. Since you do not want to end up with walls that are freshly painted with sudden flaking or bubbling, you need the contractor to assure you that they can return and fix the work.

Contract

A contract is an important written agreement that consists of essential details about the project. These include the name of the contractor, their address, contact information, license number, list of the work that will be done and responsibilities. A copy of the contractor’s insurance policy should ideally be attached in case of any breakage or damage.

Quick Tips

  • Select the products that should be used in your home. If you have a preference for a particular paint brand or finish, this needs to be indicated when you are writing the contract.
  • Walk around the area with your painters before they start. It is advisable to set aside some time to go through the rooms that will be painted. This will enable you to notice any signs of damage later on when you and the painter are aware of the conditions of each area.
  • Let the painter know that they should leave the site they way they found it. This means that the painter is expected to clean up the site after the job is completed, return furniture and get rid of any debris.

London's Top 5 Food Spots for Under a Tenner.

>> Sep 15, 2017

London’s bountiful food choice can be confusing for newcomers, especially when you consider the fact that the local food markets have just as tasty offerings as the high-end restaurants. After you’ve decided to rent a house in London, the next decision should be deciding what and where to eat. This resourceful guide takes you through the best of London’s cheap food destinations, all for less than ten pounds.

Eat Your Greens at Mike and Ollie’s

Head into Lewisham’s Brockley Market for a taste of Mike and Ollie’s legendary flatbreads served in the Lebanese style. This means getting your pick of meat, fish, or vegetable stuffing in a warm, fluffy flatbread with all the fixings. At only £7, you’ll surely be satisfied with both the food and the price.

Fun fact: The food is so tasty that people now want to have it at home, and Mike and Ollie have responded by launching a catering service.

Bratwurst at Herman ze German

With a name like Herman ze German, how could you resist cracking a smile and then visiting this hall of wurst? For £4.45 you can get London’s best bratwurst at three busy London locations - Soho, Charing Cross and Fitzrovia.

Get the unique German take on a hot dog as a mix of beef, pork, and chilli or just go straight for pork with the magnificent Frankfurter. For another £4.45, you can get a souvenir tote bag to take home the remains of the filling dish (if there are any).

Malaysian Bites at the Roti King

Roti King is an Asian fusion restaurant located at 40 Doric Way in Euston. Though it claims Pan-Asian credentials, authentic Malaysian food is its specialty.

Londoners rush in for the £5.50 roti flatbread called Roti Canai filled with chicken, meat, or fish curry. Lunch specials are just under £7, and you definitely don't want to skip the sweet roti with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream.

If you’re planning on being here in September, it can be a real treat to visit Roti King due to the Malaysian traditional Merdeka festival.

Dig in the Moo Pie at the Pieminister

London’s Pieminister is a Bristol staple whose menu will humor you with names like “Chicken of Aragon” and keep you full at the same time. Are you up for a small plate of Pigs in Blankets for just £3.50? Or how about opting for the Moo pie, the traditional British delicacy made of steak and craft ale.

A full meal with side dishes is less than a tenner. The “Feast” including a classic British pie, two sides, and a “pimp stick” comes in just at £10 and is enough to satisfy two people.

Note: Pieminister has two locations - one in Farringdon and one in Southwark.

Breakfast is at Dishoom

Dishoom is an Indian restaurant with an Iranian twist. Sharing an Akuri breakfast with a friend will cost you less than £15 total. The one-of-a-kind combo of scrambled eggs with grilled tomatoes is a local favorite. Alternatively, try the Kejriwal, a meal of two fried eggs on chilli cheese toast that’s named after a devoted fan of the dish. The convenient Covent Garden location is a bonus, or you can find other locations of Dishoom across London.

By learning a few local secrets about London’s amazing bargain food places, it will be simple to eat your breakfast, lunch, and dinner out without worrying about breaking the bank. Then, you’ll still have enough to spend on drinks later in the night!
