>> Sep 18, 2017
Minnesota
is a state that occupies over 5.56 Million people. It became Americas 32nd
state back in May 1858 during. Due to having over 11,000 lakes it soon got the nickname ‘ land of 10,000 lakes’ .
Minnesota is also a huge attraction and often gets thousands of people each
year flooding the city on vacation.
There
is no limit, it has something for everyone. From walks in the woodlands,
fishing in the lakes, events all over the city and of course the perfect
setting for any romantic getaways.
Each
year Minnesota welcomes plenty of events. Food buffets, festivals and music
with world famous acts performing here each year. Plus many more action packed
adventures for everyone to enjoy.
Events
● Arts
and Theater.
1. One of the states
favourite act is Mike Super, the magician and illusionist who is set to perform
on 10/20/2017 at the Escher Auditorium.

one of my personal favorites or all time. Begins on 04/19/2017 at the Park
Square theatre. Tells the story of Anne Frank whilst locked away for 2
years.
● Fairs
and Festivals.
1. Lions Fly in Breakfast
will be making its 44th year anniversary appearance. Last year over 2000 people
attend yearly. You can catch this on 09/10/2017 at the new ulm airport where
they are every year giving the public breakfast pancakes and a close up look at
the planes.

the children down for a carriage ride around the city and to meet Mr and Mrs
claus on the 11/25/2017 at Wadena. This will be a very special moment for the
kids.
3. The defeat of Jesse James
- every year on the second weekend in September towns people come together and
re-enact the famous 1876 bank raid on the town. The event involves the famous
bank raid, tour of the village, horse shoe hunt, arts festival, parade and
more. This is one not to be missed. You can catch this on September 6th - 10th
2017 at Northfield.
The
events held in Minnesota don't all revolve around the adults with the night
life and romantic breaks but they also hold a lot of events for children of all
ages.
When
it comes to events there is a lot of hard work that goes on behind closed doors
to make them happen. A lot of effort has to be put into the ideas.
Organizations
like Twin Cities Kids Club make this happen. Located in Minneapolis Minnesota Twin
Cities Kids Club was
formed by three families who wanted to help bring local families together
through organising events such as, train rides and ornament painting. The
organisation also offer a members discount card where you
can save up to 50% off otherbusinesses for example, 2 for 1 on trampolining,
free entry to the paintball room and unlimited access to the centre for 2
weeks. Kids also eat free.
