Spotted Dove

The
pic came from my archive. This bird was captured through a big glass window at the
Soekarno Hatta airport (Jakarta, Indonesia). We call the bird tekukur here. The
other common names are Chinese Dove, Mountain Dove, or Lace-necked
Dove. Spotted dove has unique low and gentle voice “coo-coo-croo” with
the emphasis on last note. Many people love the bird’s sound.
