Standing on a Lake

When we crossed the Cangkuang Lake (Garut, West Java, Indonesia) with a bamboo raft, I saw this man standing on a long but narrow bamboo raft. I wasn’t sure what he’s doing around the lake, but he seemed checking the fish net that he located on a spot of the lake.

Fascinating! It looks like it should tip over with him standing on the tip like that. I wonder how they do that!
