Bromo Mountain Horse Terminal

>> Jul 5, 2014

From the jeep stop point at Tengger Caldera, to go near Bromo Crater (East Java, Indonesia), visitors may take horse ride or have a walk. The path is sandy and rocky landscape -like a desert- and every horse will wait for the visitor who rents at the spot near the stairways that lead people to the peak of Bromo Mountain.
Horses and Batok Mountain
The horses are really helpful but I also felt sorry for them. They have to wait at the horse terminal without water and food.

Captured from the Bromo Peak. Can you see the location of the horse terminal?
The sequence of the area -from below- is
the horse terminal, the road, and the stairways.

I don't like the thought of horses without at least water however you shots are very good. Have a wonderful weekend.

Oh, I'm so sorry the horses were hungry and thirsty! These photos are very good!

The scenery and photos are wonderful. And I love the horses, but I feel sorry for them if they do not have water to drink. Thank you for linking up to my critter party! Enjoy your weekend!

I see rental horses standing standing and waiting for whatever comes next and then I think of our horses playing in their grassy pasture. Even at an event tied to a trailer they have access to water and hay. MB

I feel sorry for the horses as well. They should have water and food available. Looks like an interesting place to visit.

The landscape looks surreal and fascinating; they should give the horses some more comfort.

Great photos but I understand your concern about the horses. I would feel the same way. Happy week to you Lina :)

Wow. What a spot. Yes, I agree with all, no water for the horses?
