1) Remove all the furniture before cleaning. If you clean with the furniture then dust and dirt can settle below and if the prospective buyer moves the furniture they will see the dirt and it can have a negative influence on their buying prospect. When you remove the furniture and clean you will be able clean thoroughly and not miss any spots.

2) The kitchen is another room that a prospective buyer inspects minutely. Hence the kitchen needs to be cleaned thoroughly. Ensure that the stove and burners are spotless. Remove grease totally. Ensure that the kitchen vents are also cleaned thoroughly. Remove the filters and clean them too. Also clean the tiles and make them spotless.

3) The bathroom is also the room that is inspected thoroughly by a new buyer. Ensure that there is no grout. Clean the grout and the tiles. Place a freshener to freshen up the room.

4) If you have a fireplace, ensure that it is cleaned properly. Clean the furnaces also perfectly and do not forget to clean the filters. If the filters cannot be cleaned, change them. Cleaning will increase the chances of selling your home.

5) The attic and the basement are often neglected and this can harm the sale of your home too. You should ensure that the attic and the basement are clean, if neglected the buyer may find faults with your home and ask you to negotiate on the deal.

6) The garage is the most neglected part of a house. A good and neat garage will ensure that you get a good deal. To clean the garage, you need to remove the car first. Whether it is a brand new car or a used Nissan Rogue, it does not matter, just remove it and clean the garage thoroughly. Hang anything that can be hanged in the garage. Put magnetic strips and place the tools in it. Clean the shelves and the tools too. Everything should be spic and span.

7) Move the appliances in your home and clean behind them. A lot of dust and grime get settled there and are usually neglected. Clean them as well as the appliances. Everything should look as good as new to get a good price for your house.

These are some of the cleaning tips and if you follow them you will have a clean house which a prospective buyer will love. You need not clean the house in just one go, you can take one room at a time and within 3-4 days you will have a clean house.
