>> Dec 20, 2012

Traveling around the world is an excellent way to spend some quality time with your family. Exploring, enjoying and developing a bond with different cultures can be a life changing experience for your little ones and yourself as well. There are many benefits to traveling like that as a family – you will raise the awareness and respect for other cultures in your children and you will enjoy environments and people that nothing else short of travel can achieve. In time this wanderlust will let your kids see the world in a different light, inspiring and beautiful in its complexity and chaotic cultural differences. Here we have made our small list of destinations great for family vacations:

1.      Argentina

A very gorgeous, picturesque experience and a land where one may find themselves Argentina has been a central destination for tourism for many, many years for a good reason. If you want to enjoy the garish festivals you can visit Buenos Aires or you can hike on the impressive Perito Moreno glacier, camping, fishing, rappelling, zip-lining and horseback riding among other things. It is a land of vast mountains and unforgettable views that leave you speechless and humbled.

2.      Morocco
As if taken out of Arabian Nights, this country in North Africa stands at an important crossroads between two continents. It has seen a great many cultures clash and intermix in the centuries since it has been founded. You can visit the local souks where you'll be able to soak in the local atmosphere, moods, textures and then simply relax in a local hotel safe and away from the heat an the desert winds. Marrakesh is a place where you'll be able to enjoy the impressive architecture of the Bahia Palace and among the local entertainers you'll find snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and dancers. There is a mixture between Bedouin and Arabic influences here and one thing you should always keep in mind is that traditional hospitality can be a bit overwhelming at times.

3.      African Safaris
This is something a true traveler should experience at least once in a lifetime. There are tour operators which organize great safaris in the wild and those will give you and your family a chance to experience the best of what Africa has to offer when it comes to wildlife and the vast and amazing world out there. Depending on where you go and how things are organized this can either be done by vehicle in the span of days on end or simply living in an established lodge within an area where certain animals live. Nothing beats the experience of seeing so many of these wonderful animals in the wild away from cages and crowds of people.

4.      Australia
A land of ancient people with a wonderful, unique culture and one of the most unique wildlife in the world this is a place where one can enjoy the vast plains and the bush, beaches, parks, zoos and so much more that simply can't be put into words. The mixture between the local tribal influences and the Western settlers has created a truly unique country like no other in the world. Exploring each part of Australia will give you a different feel because of the sometimes subtle shifts in local cultures.

5.      London
With its old castles, traditions and wonderful mixture of many cultures both European and Asian London can be a prime destination for anyone willing to explore Britain. There's a lot more to the island nations there than just that since there is much history hidden here. Museums, markets and pretty much anything your heart desires can be found in London.
