A Modest Barbershop
>> Oct 8, 2012
This is the barbershop that my
husband frequently visits. He can have his hair cut twice per month there. He ever tried different
barbers in more comfy places, but he never liked the results. That’s why he’s
back to this barbershop again. There are usually three barbers there, but sadly,
one barber –Ujang- died of heart attack a few months ago.
I accompanied my husband last week.
There’s only one barber as the other one was being returned to his hometown. Though
we had to wait for four men, he preferred to stay and wait for his turn. While
waiting, we ordered hot tea and fried food at the canteen nearby. That
afternoon, my husband came out of the barbershop with a smile on his face :)

The guys do like to get their hair cut in a place with no frills and not too much fuss! Definitely looks like a guy's place!
I'm so sorry that your husband's barber shop is understaffed.
However, It's handy to have some snacks close by.
Happy Blue Monday, Lina.
A simple activity can make us happy right?
:-)
Delicious photos. Great blue colors.
ternyata sama dengan saya, kalau potong rambut lebih memilih pergi ke barbershop atau pangkas rambut, daripada ke salon :)
izin lihat photo nya saja mbak, gak bisa buka translate, ol pake hape.. hehee.
I am kinda like your husband. If it is a place I really like and they do a good job, I do not mind waiting. Otherwise, patience for waiting is not my thing.
I like to stay with my own hairdresser too, when they are good it is best to stay.you get to know each other and they know what they want.
Many a time comfort comes with hand and not the place. Even my father used to cut hair in local barbershop near our house before he die and sometime I accompanied him in childhood and I love to get rotated by sitting on the rolling chair.
Thanks for sharing this piece :)
Hugs n kiss
